For a long time now I have been hearing that BBQ is difficult!
Well its the same as everything in life its only as difficult as you make it.
I think we can all relate to Homer J Simpson when hey says work smarter rather than harder, Right?
Traditional BBQ is simple
Meat + fire = delicious food
Why do we need to complicate the process of something is so simple. lets face it all we want to do is cook great food that we can enjoy with our friends and family, that's why I got into BBQ.
Methods like injecting and brining have their place especially in the competition scene but are simply not necessary for home cooking for all proteins.
I can cook great food without these methods, so can you.
By using quality ingredients you are less likely to 'SUFF IT UP' better quality meat will have more marble through it so it will retain its moisture better quality rubs and sauces will compliment the meat not overpower with one flavour, a better quality smoker will be more efficient and easier to use so you will spend less time fussing over it every 30-40 minutes.
I have taken the hard work out of BBQ for you so you don't have to make the hard choices on what the best smoker is, what the best meat is, what the best rubs are.
